This Week 29

Thank you all so much for your sweet, kind and lovely comment about creJJtion’s new website/ home! I am happy and relieved you all seem to like it as much as I do. Very encouraging indeed and I can’t wait to share patterns and projects with you here in the coming months. With renewed blogging energy I am catching up straight away with the regular Monday post. Instead of looking back to last week like I used to do, my plan is to make it a preview post for what is coming this week. This week I will share with you

  • a new pattern; the giant Zpagetti doily on my home page. I took the tutorial images today, it’s a matter of assembling it all now
  • the follow up of the Dublin series, number 2
  • also coming up this week, a little review of the Simply Crochet granny square app so far. What squares did we make so far? Which ones did I like and which ones not so much.  Are you crocheting along with the app too? I’d love to read what you think of it; which squares did you like best? And why? Do you have a project in mind for them?

See you soon! Have a lovely week.

Welcome to a new creJJtion

Welcome to a new creJJtion

Well well, there we are! A complete new blog for creJJtion is here, which I refer to more as a website than a blog. The blog on blogspot is still functioning and will continue to do so, as my history and memory. I choose to not copy 3.5 years of blogging content to this new site. Let’s call it a fresh start, and I have a feeling this new blog will fill up rather quickly too.

On this new website I have tried to provide you with a more consistent and recognizable theme. Clean sidebars, decent social media buttons and a few of my drawings for a personal touch in the masking tape at the top and the patterns button.

The pattern pages make a huge difference. On the previous blog my patterns were ‘hidden’ in blogposts. Here you can find pattern buttons that will guide you to the crochet and knit categories, with a clear overview of my designs. I am still working on uploading  a couple more in the coming weeks, but there’s enough to give you an impression.

Months of hard work have gone into this new space on the world wide web and I am absolutely delighted I am finally able to share it with you. Lots of testing, clicking and editing has happened in the past weeks, but I’d appreciate it very much if you would let me know if anything is unclear or malfunctioning.

A giant thank you goes out to Femke, the graphic designer who put this all together so nicely, and Joram and his team who made this site technically possible and functioning.

What do you think? I’d love to hear from you!

Happy weekend and I hope to see you here again soon,

xo Maaike
