Free Pattern Crochet Fingerless Gloves

And there it is, another free pattern crochet fingerless gloves. I recently posted the pattern for these chunky gloves, and today I am adding a similar pattern with a thumb. You can find this new pattern on Ravelry too.

These gloves are worked in the round with Scheepjeswol Invicta Extra and hook size 3 mm. I am very happy I was able to figure out how to crochet the thumb part in the round as well. No added parts afterwards, just finish it in once. I love it if I may say so myself!

The blue yarn gives a lovely touch to the gloves with it’s almost tweed like colour variation. I really must hold myself back not to make another 4 pairs of these gloves in different colours; they are such a fun 1 yarn ball project! And, I keep on saying it; great for gifts too…

Enjoy! xo

Oh thank you so much! I have been wanting to make some, but most don’t have a thumb hole and I was worried they would just slide down my hand. I even have the perfect yarn: Merry Christmas to me!

Was bedeutet : in the chain 1 loop of row? Ich verstehe nicht warum ein loop

    1. Maaike (creJJtion) says:

Hi Rosemarie, it means you are going to work the next stitch around that loop.

  12. i am going to give these a try. I think I might actually be able to do this. I have been venturing out from my typical dish clothes. Made a shaw the other day and even got a button hoke in it! I hope I can do this.

I love this pattern but would like to make them longer (to the elbow). I know how large to make them BUT how do you decrease neatly in this pattern?

  15. Phyllis Rodlin says:

I think these are the most beautiful gloves, like the thumb part it should keep the blisters from forming while wheeling myself around

  16. I LOVE CROCHET says:

please help me I wanna make it >> please i want pattern or video : (

  17. MaryBeth says:

I tried to make these and I am an advanced Crocheter. Was there a updated pattern with corrections? The pattern I have didn’t say how many rounds you were to have. And was very vague at parts. The thumb part was very confusing. After ripping it out 2 or three times I just gave up.

Your gloves are pretty and look simple! It’s my turn for a gift! I’m going to try making a pair for myself for a change, Usually I’m making gifts or items to sell.
